Don’t hate on me for this.
But, I used canned pie filling for todays pie. My reason is sound. My goal was to do the cutest pie crust on top. I didn’t have the desire to do both a handmade filling and a cute top.
Enter in premade pie filling.
I used two pie crusts for this pie, one on the bottom and then the other I used the tiniest, cutest heart cookie cutter to do the top. I love how it turned out. This will not be the last time I do this for a pie.
It tastes delicious and looks so fun!
